Previous public polling has shown that most people in some predominantly Muslim countries don’t want to see the adoption of Western values, but a new survey shows this attitude doesn’t extend to trade. In fact, the poll by Maryland-based WorldPublicOpinion.org found generally positive views of globalization and trade among Muslim populations in Azerbaijan, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Indonesia, the Palestine Territories and Nigeria.
