TWO of the four defendants in the Burton Central Mosque trial have been cleared of violent disorder. Magistrate and high flying civil servant Mohammed Haroon, 47, of Thornescroft Gardens, Branston, and Basharat Hussain, 34, a disabled former lorry driver of Uxbridge Street, Burton, were acquitted by the 11-strong Birmingham Crown Court jury after four-and-a-half hours of deliberations yesterday. The younger man was also cleared of two charges of intimidation by threatening to kill prosecution witness Sajad Hussain.
